Our mission is to ensure babywearing education and support is accessible to every family. While our specialized playgroups and workshops have a registration fee to cover venue costs and expert time, we host Free Community Clinics as often as possible.
These free meetups are sustained entirely by community contributions. Every gift directly funds new resources for our Learning Library and covers event costs, ensuring we can provide this essential support to all families, regardless of their resources.

Leave the snow behind and join us for a bright spring morning on the trails—a chance to reconnect with nature and each other, build your village, and enjoy the fresh air as we welcome the new season together.

Trail Walking
For families ready to explore the paths where strollers simply can't go, babywearing is your greatest tool for adventure. We'll discuss the best gear and ergonomic positioning for longer treks, ensuring both you and your little one stay comfortable and protected from the elements while you discover the world together.
Rain date: Sat, Apr 25
We'll meet in the main parking lot, near the large trail map and entrance to the Read Oak Trail.
Your registration includes:
- An expert-led morning in nature with a group of local families. The trail is flat, easy to traverse, and well-connected—giving you the flexibility to complete the loop or make an early exit if needed.
- Direct access to a certified babywearing consultant. Waverly will be available throughout the walk for quick fit checks in your carrier or to help troubleshoot specific challenges.
- Access to a wide variety of demo carriers to borrow for the duration of the hike. Try something new!
- Community connection. Reconnect with the outdoors and build your village in a relaxed, supportive environment designed for bonding with your little ones and other caregivers.
Registration fee: $20 per family
As always, all carriers, skill levels, and families are welcome.
